How is the estimated price calculated?
The estimate is based on the collection and delivery locations, loaded journey distance, selected service and loading arrangements. Enter your details into the calculator above to view an estimated price.
Do you charge per pallet?
No. Pricing is based on the dedicated vehicle and journey rather than a fixed charge per pallet. The vehicle can carry up to five Euro pallets, subject to dimensions and a maximum total payload of 1,200 kg.
Is there a minimum transport charge?
Yes. The minimum charge for scheduled transport is £130 + VAT. Higher minimum charges apply to same-day and urgent services.
Is VAT included in the estimate?
The calculator displays the transport price excluding VAT, the VAT amount and the estimated total including VAT.
Is the calculated price final?
No. It is an estimate subject to vehicle availability, load suitability and final confirmation. Omega Transport will confirm the final quotation before the transport is agreed.
What if a forklift is not available?
The vehicle does not have a tail lift. If forklift loading or unloading is unavailable, the calculator will request an individual quotation so that alternative arrangements can be considered.
Are ferries, tolls and waiting time included?
Not automatically. Ferry crossings, tolls, waiting time, additional stops and special requirements may affect the final quotation.
Can I request transport outside the automatic estimate area?
Yes. Enter the transport details and send your request. If an automatic estimate cannot be provided, Omega Transport will review the journey individually.
Can I arrange regular transport?
Yes. Scheduled and recurring transport can be quoted individually based on the route, frequency and operational requirements.
Can you provide same-day or urgent transport?
Yes, subject to vehicle availability. Select Same-day transport or Urgent / priority transport in the calculator.
